Magic Widgets ("we", "us", or "our") highly respects and values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Magic Widgets mobile application (the "App").
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before using the App. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this Policy, please do not use the App.
Account and data deletion: Even if you have uninstalled the App, you can use our Account Deletion page to request deletion of your account and associated data.
We collect the following types of information only with your explicit permission and solely for the purposes described below:
1.1 Device Information: Device brand, model, manufacturer, operating system version, and Android ID. This information is used for login device security management and to improve app performance.
1.2 App Usage Data: Only when you use the Screen Time feature, we access app usage statistics to display usage frequency and duration of applications on your device.
1.3 Approximate Location: Used only when the built-in browser visits websites that require location data (e.g., weather forecast websites or the Weather widget). The App does not proactively use this permission.
1.4 Installed App List: Used by the Screen Time feature to display per-app usage statistics, and by the "Open App" widget feature for app selection.
1.5 Storage Access: Used for selecting and editing images in the Photo Widget, and for selecting audio files in the "play ringtone" feature.
1.6 Motion Sensor Data: Used by the "Steps Today" widget to display your step count.
1.7 Camera and Photo Library: Used for the Photo Widget, changing your user avatar, and widget background settings.
1.8 Running Process Info: Used by the Smart Refresh feature to detect whether widget update services are running.
1.9 Auto-start on Boot: Used to refresh and display widgets immediately after device restart. This feature is disabled by default and can be adjusted via Settings.
1.10 Clipboard: The App does not proactively read your clipboard. It is accessed only when you use the Clipboard widget or the Dynamic Island configuration paste-import feature.
1.11 Notifications: With your permission, we send local notifications to remind you of widget updates, membership expiration, and similar information. We do not use third-party push services and do not collect behavioral data through notifications.
1.12 Bluetooth: Used only for the Bluetooth toggle function in the "Quick Settings" widget.
1.13 Overlay Display: Used only by the "Dynamic Island" feature to display an information overlay at the screen edge. You may revoke this permission at any time in device settings.
You can restrict data collection or revoke specific permissions at any time via your device's Settings. Restricting a permission may prevent us from providing the corresponding feature or service.
We use the collected information solely for the following purposes:
• To provide and maintain the App's features and services
• To improve user experience and app performance
• To provide customer support
• To detect and prevent technical issues
We do not use your personal information for any purpose outside of the Magic Widgets application. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your personal information with any unrelated third parties, except in the following circumstances:
3.1 With your prior explicit consent;
3.2 When necessary to provide products or services you have requested;
3.3 As required by applicable law, regulation, or legal process;
3.4 To protect the rights, property, or safety of Magic Widgets, our users, or the public.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time using either method below:
• In the App: Go to Magic Widgets → "Me" → tap the edit button next to your username → "Delete Account";
• Outside the App: Visit our Account Deletion page and follow the instructions to submit a request by email. You do not need to install or re-download the App.
For email requests, we will perform reasonable identity verification and respond to and process the request within 15 business days. Following confirmation, the account and associated personal data will be permanently deleted or anonymized within 30 days, except for data that must be retained to comply with legal obligations or for transaction recordkeeping, security, or fraud prevention. Any retained data will be limited to what is necessary and kept only for the required period.
Google Play subscription notice: Deleting your Magic Widgets account does not automatically cancel a subscription managed by Google Play and does not automatically result in a refund. If you have an active subscription, please cancel it before deleting your account through
Google Play subscriptions.
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Your information may be transferred to and maintained on servers located outside of your country of residence. By using the App, you consent to such transfers. We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information regardless of where it is processed.
We are committed to ensuring your rights to access, correct, delete, and withdraw consent regarding your personal information. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:
1. Right of Access
You may view your personal information via the App's profile page at any time, including: avatar, nickname, UID, and bio. For information not directly accessible through the App, please contact us using the information provided in this Policy.
2. Right to Be Informed
We publish this Privacy Policy to inform you how we process your personal information. We are committed to transparency in how your data is used.
3. Right to Rectification
If you find that the information we hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you may correct it via the App's settings page. For information that cannot be self-edited, you may contact us to request corrections.
4. Right to Deletion
You may delete your account in the App by going to Magic Widgets → "Me" → tapping the edit button next to your username → "Delete Account", or submit a request through our Account Deletion page without installing the App. Please refer to that page for identity verification, processing times, the scope of deletion, and important Google Play subscription information.
After deletion is completed, you will no longer be able to log in with that account; all unused benefits will be cleared; and associated account data will be permanently deleted or anonymized, except where retention is required by law. Account deletion is irreversible.
5. Right to Withdraw Consent
You may withdraw consent for additional data collection at any time via your device settings. After withdrawal, we will no longer provide the corresponding services, but this will not affect the processing of data prior to withdrawal.
6. Right to Data Portability
You may request a copy of your personal data in a commonly used format by contacting us. We will respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, by providing a prominent notice within the App. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
